16 Oct 2026 · Vanshikha Sharma

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information BramhKamal collects, why we collect it, who sees it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to bramhkamal.com and our related pages, tools, apps and communication channels (the "Website"), and to our reports, consultations, puja services and products (the "Services").

1. Who We Are and Scope

1.1 Who is responsible. The Website is operated by Vanshikha Sharma, trading as BramhKamal, at Jaipur, Rajasthan ("BramhKamal", "we", "us", "our"). We are in the process of incorporating a business entity and expect to complete this by December 2026. Until then, Vanshikha Sharma is the person responsible for your personal information (the "data fiduciary" under Indian law).

1.2 Your consent. By using the Website, creating an account, booking a Service or submitting a form, you confirm that you have read this Policy and consent to the collection and use of your information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 8).

1.3 Related documents. Read this Policy together with our Terms and Conditions and Refund and Cancellation Policy.

1.4 Applicable law. We handle personal information in line with Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules, as they come into force.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you give us.

  • Astrological details: date, time and place of birth, gender, marital or family details you share for matching or muhurat, and the questions you ask us
  • Consultation content: what you tell us in calls, chats and messages, and notes our astrologer makes
  • Puja details: name, gotra and sankalp details you give for a puja
  • Order and delivery details: billing and shipping address, items ordered, and order history
  • Account details: login credentials, if you create an account
  • Support and feedback: messages, reviews, testimonials, survey answers and form entries

2.2 Information we collect automatically ("Device Information"). IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, time zone, approximate location, pages and products viewed, referring site or search term, date and time of visits, and how you interact with the Website. We collect this using cookies, log files, and web beacons, tags and pixels (see Section 5).

2.3 Payment information. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on our payment gateway's secure page. We receive only confirmation of payment, the amount, the transaction reference and, where needed, the last four digits of your card. We do not store full card numbers, CVV or PINs.

2.4 Sensitive information. Consultations can lead you to share sensitive matters such as health, family, relationship or financial circumstances. Share only what you are comfortable with. We use such information only to give you the Service you asked for.

2.5 Information from others. If you give us another person's details (a spouse, child or parent, for matching or a report), you confirm that you have their permission or the right to share them.

2.6 Accuracy. Please give correct and current information. Reports and consultations depend on the accuracy of your birth details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for the purposes below, on the basis of your consent, to perform our contract with you, to meet legal duties, or for our legitimate business needs.

  • Deliver Services: prepare reports, hold consultations, perform pujas, and ship products
  • Process orders and payments: confirm orders, take payment, issue refunds, and handle tax and invoicing records
  • Communicate with you: send order, booking and delivery updates, reminders, and replies to your queries
  • Provide support: resolve complaints and requests
  • Improve the Website and Services: understand how the Website is used, fix errors, test features, and improve the quality and accuracy of our reports, including with software and AI-assisted tools that run under our control
  • Personalise your experience: remember preferences and show relevant content
  • Marketing: send newsletters and offers where you have agreed (see Section 5)
  • Protect the Website: prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents, and enforce our Terms
  • Meet legal duties: respond to lawful requests from courts, regulators and law enforcement, and keep records the law requires

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your consultation content or birth details for advertising, and we do not publish them without your consent.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 Service providers. We use third parties to help run the Services, and they may see your information only as needed for their task and under confidentiality duties. They include payment gateways, courier and logistics partners, hosting and cloud providers, email, SMS and WhatsApp providers, video-call and chat tools, analytics and advertising platforms, and accountants and professional advisers. We choose providers with care, but their own privacy policies also apply to what they handle.

4.2 Our astrologers and team. Our astrologers, priests and staff see your details to the extent needed to serve you, under confidentiality duties.

4.3 Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, a court order, a subpoena or another lawful request, to enforce our Terms, to prevent fraud or harm, and to protect our rights, users or the public.

4.4 Business change. If we incorporate, merge, restructure or transfer the business, your information may move to the successor entity, which will continue to honour this Policy (see Section 10).

4.5 With your consent. We share information in other ways only if you ask us to or agree.

4.6 What you give is yours to confirm. You confirm that the information you give us is true, current and complete. We are not responsible for its accuracy, and you may be liable for loss caused by false information.

5. Cookies, Analytics, Tracking and Newsletters

5.1 Cookies and similar tools. Cookies are small files placed on your device. We use them to keep the Website working, remember your preferences, understand traffic, and measure marketing. Log files record actions on the Website. Web beacons, tags and pixels record how you browse. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Website may then not work.

5.2 Analytics and advertising. We may use third-party analytics and advertising tools for example, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel that set their own cookies.

5.3 Do Not Track. We do not change how we collect and use data when your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal.

5.4 Newsletters and messages. If you subscribe, you agree to receive emails from us about new services, products and updates, up to 4 a month. We use double opt-in: you confirm your email address through a verification link. Subscribing is optional, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We may remove subscribers who give false data or break our Terms, and may change or stop the newsletter at any time. We send WhatsApp, SMS or call messages for marketing only if you have agreed. Order and booking messages are sent regardless.

6. Payments and Financial Information

6.1 Payment partners. Payments are processed by third-party gateways Razorpay and banks, under their own security standards and privacy policies. For international orders, additional gateways or bank transfers may be used.

6.2 Identity and tax records. For orders above INR 2,00,000, or where the law requires, we may ask for your PAN or other identity proof, and we keep invoices and tax records as the law requires.

6.3 Fraud checks. We and our payment partners may use your details to detect and prevent fraud, and may decline or cancel suspicious transactions.

6.4 Never share secrets. We will never ask for your OTP, card PIN, CVV or banking password. If someone claiming to be us does, do not share them, and tell us.

7. Retention and Security

7.1 How long we keep information. We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy and to meet legal duties. Order and tax records are kept for the period the law requires. Birth details, report records and consultation notes are kept for 24 months after your last Service, so we can support you and handle disputes, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. After that, we delete or anonymise information, except where the law requires us to keep it.

7.2 Security measures. We use reasonable security practices, including encrypted connections, access controls, limited staff access, secure payment gateways and periodic reviews of our systems. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7.3 Your part. Keep your passwords and devices safe, and tell us at once if you suspect misuse of your account.

7.4 Data breaches. If a breach affects your personal information in a way that the law requires us to report, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may write to us at [email protected] to:

  • access a summary of the personal information we hold about you and how we use it
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law
  • withdraw consent to any use that rests on consent, including marketing (withdrawal does not affect earlier use, and we may then be unable to provide some Services)
  • restrict or object to certain processing
  • receive a copy of your information in a commonly used format, where practical
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to act
  • complain to our Grievance Officer (Section 10), and to the Data Protection Board of India or other authority once it is operational

We may ask you to verify your identity first, and we will reply within a reasonable time, and in any case within the period the law sets. If you live outside India (for example in the EU or UK), you may also have rights under your local law, and we will respect them to the extent they apply to us.

9. Children, Third-Party Links and Cross-Border Transfers

9.1 Children. The Services are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information of anyone under 18 without the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian may book a Service for a child (for example a baby-name or kundli report) and, by doing so, consents to our use of the child's details for that Service. We do not track or profile children, or send them targeted advertising. If you believe a child has given us information without consent, write to us and we will delete it.

9.2 Third-party links. The Website may link to other websites and tools that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their practices.

9.3 Storage and transfers outside India. Our service providers (cloud, email, analytics) may store or process your information on servers outside India. Where we do so, we take steps to keep your information protected, and we transfer it only to countries the Indian government has not restricted.

10. Changes, Successor Entity, Grievance Officer and Contact

10.1 Moving to a registered entity. We plan to incorporate BramhKamal in or around December 2026. When we do, the registered entity will take over the Website, the Services and this Policy, and will become responsible for your personal information. Your information will transfer to it on the terms of this Policy, and your rights will not change. We will post a notice on the Website and update this Policy with the entity's name and registered address.

10.2 Changes to this Policy. We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the law or our Services. Changes take effect when posted on this page. For material changes, we will also notify you by email or a notice on the Website. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Last updated: 16 October 2026.

10.3 Grievance Officer. For questions, complaints or to exercise your rights, contact:

We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.
